Why donate to First Tee — Triangle?
Part of the mission of First Tee — Triangle is to develop good golfers, better people. In 2021 alone, the organization served 1,732 children throughout Raleigh & Durham.
We offer both golf course-based programs as well as after-school programs (known as Drive4Success) at 14 local elementary schools as we seek to educate children on physical, mental and social wellness.
Our First Tee Life Skills Experience™ and Nine Healthy Habits™ curriculums were developed by experts in the field of positive youth development and delivered by trained coaches. Participants learn healthy habits and to apply life skills and transfer the positive values of golf to everyday life.

Of the 1,732 children served in 2021 — and with an expected additional 800 youth once the Center For Youth Development is completed — we estimate that more than 50% of participants will require scholarships to take part in the First Tee program.
