Center For Youth Development

TriGolf Is Now Open

The Future Center for Youth Development

In January of 2020, First Tee — Triangle acquired the TriGolf location in Northwest Raleigh as a future home base for the thousands of students & volunteers the program supports every year.

We Still Need Your Help

Thanks to the generous support of our founding investors this new home facility is expected to serve an additional 800 students annually. Join our effort to bring First Tee — Triangle kids a place they can call home.

Future plans for the site include a 9-hole short course, designed by world-renowned architect Gil Hanse, a short game practice area, in addition to a learning center with integrated classroom areas for students. All practice facilities will be open to the general public & local community.

Gil Hanse Designed Par-3 Course

We’re thrilled to partner with one of the world’s finest golf course architects, Gil Hanse, to build our 9-hole short course, featuring holes ranging from 50-110 yards.

Hanse has designed and renovated some of the most famous golf courses in the world, including the Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro (host of the 2016 Olympic Games), Streamsong Resort’s Black Course, Pinehurst No. 4, and The Cradle, Pinehurst Resort’s new 9-hole short course.

With all of the great golf facilities in the Triangle, we will look back a generation from now and realize that this project was the most important one.
